Background:
Homeopathic Practitioner, leader of a National Center for Homeopathy affiliated study group and teacher of Homeopathy for Beginners. Certified in classical homeopathy and registered member of the North American Society of Homeopaths. Certified CEASE Therapist, specialization in treating Autistic Spectrum disorders.
After graduating from the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California, she continues to attend in depth case taking and patient management training in the 'Sensation Method' pioneered by Drs. Rajan Sankaran, Jayesh Shah and Sujit Chatterjee from India and the California Center for Homeopathic Education.
Her background is in holistic health as a nationally certified massage therapist since 1981 and she has a UCSD certificate in exercise science.
Method:
The 'Sensation Method' adheres to the principles of classical homeopathy. This method of case taking (initial intake and follow up visits) is a system for following the language of the symptoms in your chief complaint to the core of the problem. Remedy (homeopathic medicine) selection becomes more accurate. Clients are often amazed at the depth of understanding they reach about their health problems. Most feel deeply understood, sometimes for the first time.
Explanation of the initials:
CCH -- Certified in Classical Homeopathy
This designation is given by the Council for Homeopathic Certification to those homeopaths who have satisfied the required educational and clinical experience, and who have demonstrated high competency in case-taking skills. Additionally, a CCH homeopath has successfully completed formal classroom and clinical training in homeopathy, core classes in western medicine, and a series of exams covering all aspects of classical homeopathy. The organization was formed to unify the homeopathic profession by defining a rigorous set of standards and ethics, thus providing confidence in its roster of practitioners. Note that the CCH designation does not serve as a license to practice medicine. It simply verifies that an individual has attained a level of competency as a classical homeopath.
RSHom (NA) -- Registered Society of Homeopaths.
This is a designation given by the North American Society of Homeopaths (NASH) to their members that are practitioners who have been certified by the board of the Council for Homeopathic Certification.
Practice:
Ursula's homeopathic practice focuses on consultations for acute and chronic health conditions for children and adults. Most consultations take place via skype.
Her favorite area of specialization is in the care of children with Autism utilizing the CEASE Therapy as developed by Dr.Tinus Smits of Holland.
She can work together with your primary health care provider to support your healing. Often, over time with improvements in health, prescription medication may be reduced or discontinued, as directed by your doctor.
Ursula's practice is based on the belief that with patience, persistence, understanding and openness in communication, lasting improvements in health are attainable for most. She is committed to meeting those needs and doing her best. As a result, a high percentage of her practice is from repeat clients and referrals.
“The
Constitution of this Republic should make special provision for Medical Freedom
as well as Religious Freedom... To restrict the art of healing to one class of
men and deny equal privileges to others will constitute a bastille [prison] of
medical science. All such laws are un-American and despotic." -
Benjamin Rush, M.D.,

of the Declaration of Independence
